Mikey finishes 2008 as PCCI Dog of the Year, National Dog of the Year, Hound of the Year and Beagle of the Year. Well done Mikey!!!!!!!!! He has been awarded 55 All Breed Best in Shows and 35 Runner-up Best in Shows. At the tender age of two years, Mikey has left our shores to continue his successful show career in the Philippines. In just 18 months in the big kids classes, he gained over 430 points, 3 Best in Groups, 4 Reserve in Groups, 3 x Baby in Show and numerous other Class in Group and Show awards. At seven months, he was awarded Best of Breed, Puppy in Group and Puppy in Show at the 2005 Brisbane Royal. He was again awarded Best of Breed the following year Mikey has been adopted by Jay Tan of Olympic Gold Beagles. My sincere thanks to Jay for his professional manner and the kindness and understanding that he has shown to Mikey since his arrival. I miss you very much, my dear, sweet boy. I am proud of your achievements at your very first shows and look forward to hearing of your future successes. In just four shows, Mikey has achieved his Philippine title and did it in style with Best In Show. |
